Eventually, I went back to graduate school for my master’s degree, got married, had 2 lovely daughters and have been fortunate enough to work with some well-known environmental organizations as well as with the U.S. EPA.

For me, finding the EcoTeamUnited was the answer to my prayer.  My family was in the mist of a financial crisis during an economic recession. My husband and I were laid off from our previous ministry jobs due to budget cuts. We were hurting financially and needed a way out that would give us hope for the future. In my previous profession as a women's minister, I loved working form home, raising our three boys and making a difference in the lives of others.   The EcoMomTeam has given me all that and much more!  I am grateful and blessed to share this experience with everyone I meet.

My name is Melissa Rice.  I've been married for close to 6 years to my husband, Hunter and we have 2 sweet girls, Adeline who is 4 and Emma Jane who is 2.  It is because of my desire to be home with them and truly live out my call as a woman in Titus 2 that I began looking for something I could do at home that I was also passionate about.  I thought about everything from making baked goods and homemade organic baby food to sell on Etsy to going back to school to be a nurse and trying to get a job where I could just work a couple days a week.  My husband being in graduate school quickly made me realize I did not want to do the latter.
